During construction, South Omaha business owners, commuters, and visitors can park in a free temporary parking lot provided by the City of Omaha located at 23rd and N St. 24th Street street parking will continue to be available during construction but will be limited near Plaza de la Raza.
As part of this project, a parking garage will be built to provide improved parking options for the 24th St corridor. It will have approximately 300 parking spaces for business owners, commuters, and visitors and will include safety features such as lighting and security cameras. The parking garage will be located at 23rd and N St and will be completed by Fall 2027.
